You've just been diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or starting to suspect ADHD, WHAT NOW?!
45-minute 1:1 session
I get it. The ADHD roller-coaster is confusing and exhausting.
You will be going through a whole range of emotions: from relief, to grief to overwhelm and perhaps even shame. And all the while not having a clue what this means for you and your future.
Wherever you are on your ADHD journey, I promise to meet you exactly where you are, and help you figure out what you want do next.
I started to suspect I was ADHD during my Master's degree at the age of 51, and was diagnosed aged 52. It turned out to be a whole new chapter for me, but it wasn't smooth sailing, and I couldn't have done it alone.
You don't have to either.
This 45-minute Zoom call is a chance for you to:
- Start to gain an understanding of how ADHD impacts you: both your lived experience so far and your current reality
- Find out how ADHD support could enable you to make incremental changes, which add up to real transformation
- Have a safe and non-judgemental space to process how you feel about your diagnosis
- Gain an understanding of different ADHD resources and support networks you can lean in to
- Leave the call with a few different resources that would be most helpful to you right now so you can start right away!
- Discover and explore the life you would like to create, starting today
Our conversation will give you a chance to:
- Discuss the person you want to become in light of your recent diagnosis
- Safely explore your options, including medication, with no pressure or judgement
- Start to process and articulate what you need and want from others in your life
- Start the journey of disentangling what is your ADHD and what is you
- If you're UK-based, find out more about reasonable adjustments at work or school, Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA), Access to Work (AtW) and other ways to ask for the support you need
- Consider and start to plan your next steps.
My intention during these sessions is to create a neurodivergent-friendly space where you can freely express yourself, without judgement or need for masking or apology.
I can offer software to transcribe our call, and I will follow up our conversation with a short summary and links to any resources we talked about.
You will be offered £10 off any course fee or coaching costs if you book a group, series of workshops or 1:1 coaching with me.
To get the most out of our time together, please complete and return the questionnaire before we meet and ensure you are somewhere private and comfortable for our call.
Recent testimonials from ADHD exploration sessions:
"Hi Kaye, thank you so much for all your help, support and resources in our short call! I’m excited to explore what you’ve shared. You’ve definitely helped me on my journey already, thank you. What you shared on emotions, ERD and RSD were complete light bulb moments for me …almost felt like pieces to the jigsaw. Since our call last week, I’ve completed the ADHD UK assessment tool to share and go through with my GP tomorrow in the hope they’ll help with next steps."
RR, client success manager
“Thank you so much for your time today. You held a really safe space for me to be myself and express myself. … I felt very aligned with everything that you said about boundaries, contracting, how you set up sessions and the intersectionality of our identities…. I think your resources and sessions are really valuable and accessible and...ADHD coaching with you has potential to be a really valuable next step for me.”
LTP, performer, actor, comedian, director
"Thank you for your very informative and helpful session. You have been on my mind, often, as I felt a connection with you and unknown to you, you have actually had a huge influence upon me already....I got hold of the Martha Beck book you recommended (audible and paperback version), downloaded her pdfs and have felt myself having a bit of an epiphany. So much so, that I am investigating doing her coach training as I am feeling a ‘calling’ to return to my own coaching work...I am much more heart centred than I was before, and much more in tune with my native intuition."
AN, psychotherapist and coach
"The techniques and ideas you have given us have been invaluable as a basis for [my daughter] being organised, so huge thanks for that. Also the call has given me a good understanding of the mechanics of ADHD as well as how to help manage it going forward...Thank you!"
